SBE was established in 2013 as a joint venture company between Incepta Pharmaceuticals, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh and Bioengineering AG, Swiss bioreactor systems engineering and manufacturing specialist. In 2015, the joint venture was expanded by AMS Technology, a German vessel and apparatus engineering and manufacturing expert.
